Aura is one of the biggest master-planned communities in the country, and it’s still growing — Banya and Nirimba are well established now, Baringa has been building out fast, and Gagalba is the newest neighbourhood to open. Almost every home across all four is a recent build, with young families the dominant buyer group. Builder-standard door and window locks aren’t certified security screens, and it’s usually one of the first upgrades new owners make.

We’ve measured and installed in homes across Banya and Nirimba, and Baringa and Gagalba are inside our regular Aura service run as those neighbourhoods fill in. We bring the whole measure-and-quote process to your address, wherever you are in the estate.

New-Build Security Screens & Flyscreens

Builder-standard locks fitted during construction get you through handover, not a genuine security barrier. We custom-make and install CommandeX SecureView Eclipx and Xceed security screen doors and security screen windows for your Aura home — hinge doors, sliding doors, sliding windows, fixed, casement or awning windows — with matching flyscreens fitted in the same visit. Every CommandeX screen we install complies with AS 5039 and carries a manufacturer warranty of up to 20 years depending on the range.

Barrier Screens — Budget Option

Settling into a new build already comes with plenty of costs — CommandeX Diamond Grille and BasiX barrier screens give Aura homes a lower-cost way to get real security screening sorted, still measured and installed by us.

Yes — new streets across Aura come online all the time and it doesn’t slow us down. Give us the address when you book and we’ll get there for your measure & quote.

We’ve got young kids — do you have anything beyond standard security screens?

Yes — the CommandeX range includes fall-prevention screens. With young families the dominant buyer group across all four Aura neighbourhoods, it’s one of the questions we field most, particularly for the two-storey house designs common here with upstairs windows and balcony doors.

Are the locks that come standard with new Aura builds actually secure?

Usually not — they’re there to satisfy handover requirements, not to act as a certified security product. Most Aura homeowners have proper security screens supplied and installed separately once they’ve moved in.

Do you cover all four neighbourhoods — Banya, Nirimba, Baringa and Gagalba?

Yes — we treat the whole Aura estate as one service area and measure and install across Banya, Nirimba, Baringa and Gagalba as they build out.

Since literally every home in Aura is a new build, are the standard locks at least a decent baseline?

Not by AS 5039’s definition, no matter how new the build is. A single-point lock — which is what most builder-standard doors ship with — only qualifies as a barrier screen under the standard, not a security door. Every SecureView Eclipx or Xceed screen we install across Banya, Nirimba, Baringa and Gagalba comes standard with an approved triple-point locking system instead, which is what actually earns AS 5039 security-door certification.
